falkaholic Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 To hide the complexity of most of my systems. I try to make the line items (that is, a standard one-to-many database) where they will not be stumbled opon by the users. Since most of the time they are not ment to me viewed by the users. The best way i have found is to: -Put the line item is another folder in the same directory as the master file. -In the startup script for it, and have a Toggle Window [Hide] What other methods do people use?
Kurt Knippel Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 I have found that a simple "dialog" screen works best. Something like a 320x320 layou with a message that this is a supporting file and contains no user interface. The entire layout is a button which hides the window and/or sends the user to the main menu.
