MileFaker3000 Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 (edited) How do I restart Zulu 4? Following along here: http://docs.360works.com/index.php/Zulu_2/Logging_Properties and don't know how to restart Zulu. I don't see it in the Sync Admin Edited June 28, 2021 by MileFaker3000
ryan360Works Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 You can restart Zulu by using the 360Works Admin utility. Default locations are /Applications on Mac or C:\Program Files\360Works on Windows. Launch the utility, select Zulu in the list, and click stop and then start.
MileFaker3000 Posted June 28, 2021 Author Posted June 28, 2021 Ah. "360Works Admin Tool" =/= Sync Admin. Understood. Thanks for the quick response. My log files were > 50GB. yeesh. I dropped down to INFO. Any major size differences going to WARNING or SEVERE instead?
ryan360Works Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 INFO should be the default level. You should get a lot less logging going to warning and even less with severe. However, if you ever need to send logs for support, you will need to turn it back up to info, restart Zulu, reproduce, and then send the logs.
MileFaker3000 Posted June 28, 2021 Author Posted June 28, 2021 Mine was set to FINE. It's now set to INFO. I think I'm going to drop it even lower to WARNING, unless you can think of a reason not to.
ryan360Works Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 Only reason to not set it to warning would be in the case of needing support. Otherwise it should be fine.
