CustomerMod IsActive, can this be modified?

Featured Replies

The Project I am working would like to Archive some of the Customer so in short make the field IsActive = false.  The description of this field is:

IsActive
If IsActive is true, this object is currently enabled for use by QuickBooks. The default value is true.

Does the phrase "currently enabled for use by QuickBooks" mean that this field can only be changed in QuickBooks and not script step?

Thanks

No, it can be changed via the API. I believe that you can even create Invoices for an "Inactive" Customer via the API. The field "IsActive" is just an attribute that's used as a filter in the QB UI.
