SC in Windows Server 2019 Standard Edition

Featured Replies

We have had for long period Standalone SuperContainer server running on OS X but we need to move it to Windows Server 2019 Standard Edition. We love the previews that the MacOS do construct for each PDF as it is well stated.

The question is to ask i there Is any way to circumvent the windows limitation and get those same previews with the same tools, or something that involves BaseElements.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

The reason this only works in Mac is because it is using a Mac only library called CoreImage. There is no way to do this in Windows, at least not with SuperContainer.

Hi Ryan,

Yes I know the reason. It has been that way since v2, if I'm not wrong.
But after so many years I was seeking advice about how to circumvent such limitation and analyse the pros and cons involved.

Thanks, Ryan,
