Using a script, how do I use Filemakers auto update plugin to pull over a fp5 file?

Auto Update is designed to bring across new or updated plug-ins from the host to the client when operating in multi-user mode. It doesn't provide an option to bring across fp5 files (the assumption being that if they are available on the remote host machine, then they will simply be accessed in client server mode, I guess...)

Actually though it was designed to update plugins, you can acutally update any file. Filemaker Server is just pushing text files around and it does not do any kind of validation to make sure that those files are for plugins.

Script it the same way you would a plugin.

is there info on the exturnal functions for auto update. Or an examples that I could look at. The FileMaker Server guide was not much help in this area. Maybe I missed somthing.
