Jeffrey Bloch Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 (edited) Anyone know why I might be getting pixelated edges on my circles/ovals? I've experimented with all variations of radius sizes, etc. The version on the left has a border of 5. FM 19/Win11. Attached is a sample file just created and a screenshot of how it looks on my system in case it's a WIN setting. Display scaling is set at 100% and at the recommended resolution. Thanks. comment Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Why don't you post a file showing this? At the same time, see if you can reproduce the problem in a new file. Then we will have a clue if the problem is with your file or with your system. Without it, it's pure guesswork.
Jeffrey Bloch Posted March 23, 2022 Author Posted March 23, 2022 I understand it might be guesswork for many, but if someone has already dealt with the issue, they’d have some great insight. I may well have to post the file, but this is my first crack at solving it.
Steve Martino Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 It was fuzzy when first opening, but when I took it from gradient to solid, then back to gradient, it disappears.
Jeffrey Bloch Posted March 23, 2022 Author Posted March 23, 2022 Does that suggest any possible cause to you? Maybe OS related? Tks.
comment Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 I opened your file in v.18 on macOS and there is no visible pixelation. I notice that it is a rectangle with curved corners, not a circle or an oval. Possibly that might have something to do with it - but without being able to reproduce the problem, I don't really know.
