Pixelated edges on circle

Featured Replies

Anyone know why I might be getting pixelated edges on my circles/ovals? I've experimented with all variations of radius sizes, etc. The version on the left has a border of 5. FM 19/Win11.

Attached is a sample file just created and a screenshot of how it looks on my system in case it's a WIN setting. Display scaling is set at 100% and at the recommended resolution.

Thanks.

Why don't you post a file showing this? At the same time, see if you can reproduce the problem in a new file. Then we will have a clue if the problem is with your file or with your system. Without it, it's pure guesswork.

I understand it might be guesswork for many, but if someone has already dealt with the issue, they’d have some great insight. I may well have to post the file, but this is my first crack at solving it.

Sample file added to original post.

It was fuzzy when first opening, but when I took it from gradient to solid, then back to gradient, it disappears.

Does that suggest any possible cause to you? Maybe OS related?

 Tks.

I opened your file in v.18 on macOS and there is no visible pixelation. I notice that it is a rectangle with curved corners, not a circle or an oval. Possibly that might have something to do with it - but without being able to reproduce the problem, I don't really know.
