Hello folks

I have an old database that is not in use, but now I want to edit something in it but i don

For a small fee, FileMaker, Inc will extract the master password, IF you can prove it is yours by an ownership notice inside the said database. If you neglected to put in such an ownership layout (like most of us) you'll need to search the web. There are several FMP Password Cracker programs out there that will extract your password. Several web sites offer to do this as a service.

Hi,

We are in a similar situation but of different circumstances.

We are still using FilemakerPro 4.0v1

Our IT Manager left the company without leaving the password

with us. Is now using it to negotiate with the company so

he could get some package ($).

Can you provide us with some sites we could go to for

the password crackers and 3rd party vendors that can

help us on this. You can email me directly at

[email protected]

Would really appreciate your inputs.

Regards,

Bal Denoyo

If you own the databases FMI will do it for you. And your ex-IT Manager is just blackmailer and should be reported to the Police.

If the databases are his/hers, pay him nicely according to the contract and don't try to "crack" databases. Or he/she will report YOU to the Police for stealing his/hers intellectual property.

There are no other choices.
