WANTED: Hiring FM Developer for a few hours of consultant work

Featured Replies

Hello all- looking to hire a FileMaker pro. I have developed my own database solution and have been stuck with obtaining a previous record for a report. I have tried GetNthRecord and whilst it works in a Table of all my data, it won't show the value in my report.  I'v tried achieving this via the Relationship Graph and no joy there either.  I'm close but not quite understanding something.

What: I am looking to hire someone to work with me remotely (via zoom/teams etc) to review this issue with me. Must be a good communicator, ready to dive right in, and must have a solid understanding of relational databases and their implementation within FM.  Please note I am using FileMaker Pro 19 with the application currently hosted via Filemaker Cloud.

When: Looking for help ASAP, ideally would meet this week. I am UK time zone and have availability 9am - 9pm Weekdays or Weekends. One long couple of hours session should be suffice.

I will pay hourly based on an agreed rate. If you believe you can help, please reach out so that we can discuss further. Please be able to verify your FileMaker proficiency- such as a digital portfolio of your work, having made substantial contributions in post/comment history on fmforums, a FM certification, or something similar.

Thank you for your interest!

Hello Steve

I'd be happy to take a look for you. Could do it on a 'no win, no fee' basis! Been developing FM databases for last 30 years, run our whole Apple business on it.

Let me know if interested, could help out in next day or two in Google Meet or similar.
