I'm looking for a DB model that allows me to have a table with the different phases of a competition, it concerns the headings, the links and the model, hence the fact that I post here.

the examples are the beach volleybal,l competition of tennis, ...

So I enter the competitors and if winner, it automatically goes to the next round, so no need to enter

Not sure what exactly your question is. 

In terms of tables, you would usually have participants and matches, with each match related to 2 participants (home and away). The generation of the matches in each round would be scripted according to the rules of the game (for example, a league is not the same as a tournament).
