Is there a way to set delete flags in bulk, not "one-by-one" ?

OK, I've got a rather nice FileMaker email solution for a client, and the number of emails that need to be deleted is quite large. I think the only way to delete these from the email server, before deleting them in FileMaker, is setting the "deleted" flag, on a one-by-one basis. Is there a way to do this in a batch without looping through the deletes. Looping through is very slow, possibly 15 seconds per email/record. If I've got thousands to delete, I'd like to be able to do this in bulk.

TIA!

Hi Larry,

Since the Email plugin is designed to iterate over a batch of messages individually, there is not a way to set a flag in bulk. If deleting 1000's of message is going to be a common occurrence, then I'd recommend calling the script that will do the deleting server side or on a FileMaker Pro machine that doesn't need to be used for a while.
