My brand new FM PRo 5.5 manual which I kept into my hands about 10 times, is falling apart. Pages get loose, the page binding obviously is bad.

Do others also have that experience, or has there been used some occasional monday-morning glue in my case..?

I've had two manuals fall apart on me. The one I am using is being held together by rubber bands when I am not using it. I worked in printing for many years and it really bothers me when the binding doesn't hold up.

Mine is about two months old. I phoned Filemaker Holland today and requested for another manual, but 'they couldn't promise anything'. And she kept saying, you can also refer to the Filemaker Help on your computer..which is not the issue..

Think she found it a rather difficult request..

Jeez, you guys complain about anything...what do you expect for $500? We're lucky they even give us a manual.

I print one out from the pdf file and ring-binder it. on A4 paper you also get heaps of space to make your own pen notes about various bits.
