VirtualBob Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 I use FileMaker Pro 15 and I've created a photo catalogue for sorting exhibitions and books. I tried to create a PDF document via the Print function on a Mac. Print > Save as PDF but the margins are quite large. The image layout is 590 x 320cm without a header or footer and the page setup is these same dimensions with zero margins. I was hoping to get near edge to edge images but the margins are quite large. There are what look like grey page breaks every two images. Is there any way to reduce the margins in FileMaker or is this just a quirk of PDF page generation?
comment Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 A file (with 2 pages) showing the problem could be useful. You should also check if using File > Save/Send Records As > PDF produces a different result. Or even before that, what do you see in Preview mode. https://help.claris.com/en/pro-help/content/saving-sending-records-pdf.html
VirtualBob Posted December 1, 2023 Author Posted December 1, 2023 Thanks for that. I didn't realise there was a save to PDF option - I'm a bit stuck in the past 🙂 Works perfectly for my needs.
