"File could not be downloaded" error when downloading new database version

Running MirrorSync 6.7 with FileMaker Server 2024 on macOS 13.5.

Sync runs fine with no problems, but when I try to trigger an update from the server by updating VersionNumber, the client (iPad FM Go 2024) prompts "New database version available", then opens mirrorsynclauncher, and shows "File could not be downloaded" prompt with some HTML code in the message. Clicking OK closes the app and user ends up in the opening screen of FM Go.

Any clues on what to do to fix? Thanks!

Hi Butch,

In order to do proper troubleshooting, we'll need to see the logs coming from your MirrorSync server. The best way to get those logs over to us is to use the built-in bug reporting tool. You can report a bug by opening your browser and navigating to http(s)://<your-server-domain>/MirrorSync like you normally would to launch the config client, then click on the link titled "Send problem report and log files."

You'll be asked a few questions, then you'll be able to submit your problem report to us.

Please be sure you reproduce the problem (run a sync and attempt to download the new version) before you report the bug so that we'll be able to see it in the logs.
