Get the total amount of subject per Semester

Hello everyone, I am just a beginner, can you help me?

In this image, I have the same field for the subject but they are in different semesters. What I want to achieve is to get the total amount of the subject per semester separately, even though they are in the same field.

For example:

Total amount of the subject for Semester 1
Total amount of the subject for Semester 2
I don't know if this can be done through calculation or a script. Thank you.

I am not sure I understand your question.

It sounds like you want to produce a report, where the records would be sorted by Subject and by Semester, and there would be a sub-summary part (when sorted by Semester) showing a summary field defined as Total of Amount.

Your screenshot looks like you are trying to do this in a portal, which would be significantly more challenging.

Your screenshot also shows 4 distinct subjects which makes it even more confusing and more likely that I have misunderstood your question.
