Good day, my Filemaker file is becoming a little sluggish but as it is now fairly large and complex, (400 + layouts) I reasonably expect that. However on checking my Activity Monitor I see that I am showing 398.82 GB of Virtual Memory Size. How is that even possible. Is there anything I should do to reduce this.

Sorry I have not updated my profile. This is on FMP 22.02.202 on Mac OS 15.6

Hi, thanks for responding. I have no problem with the amount of RAM being used by FMP it is the Virtual Memory Size that I find incredulous. I had raised the file cache to try and ameliorate the slowdown when lengthy scripts are performed.
