If someone who has upgraded from version 5.0 to 5.5 could answer a few questions for us - we are about to upgrade 10 FM Servers:

1. When upgrading on W2K, does 5.5 server install upgrade the 5.0 install, or does it install separate?

2. What about upgrading a Mac FM server?

3. Are there any "gotchas" concerning the upgrade for either platforms?

On the Mac it is a seperate upgrade, mainly because the installation folder has changed names. Preferences are all saved and reused.

On Windows I would assume the same thing, although I am not sure exactly how FMI packages the installer. I thought that they were all standalone installers and the difference way on in the licensing.

Upgrades for us went without a hitch!
