I'm at a school and our office has a family db. Our development office bout Razor's Edge years back, and now I need to get the two talking. Ideally, I'd just like to script a weekly export or something. Does anyone have any experience in this?

What is Razor's Edge?

What do you mean by getting the two talking?

"Raiser's Edge" is an enormously expensive database program for managing some nonprofit organization activities (donors, etc.). It has a lot of bells and whistles, but it's limited and expensive (total cost can be over $10,000, which for a mass-marketed program is ridiculous). It's also Windows-only.

Chances are you can export the data from FMP into either tab-separated text or CSV format, then import that data into Raiser's Edge.

Every user I've ever spoken to hates it. With passion. The name says it all.

Vaughan -- I'd love to hear more specifics on what problems folks have with Raiser's Edge.
