ok so what does one do. our server is for internal use only and i would like to just let our users in to use our files.

Use the "Web Security" database.

And you must do the "Exact search" all the time in all requests, or otherwise the databases are visible all over the Internet.

Only that is giving reasonable results in WebSecurity database.
