Is it possible to change the label of a button?

Featured Replies

I can't seem to figure out how to change the label of a button. Once the buttons put down, its initial command is set, and you enter the label the first time, I can't find a way to change that label ever again. Its getting frustrating remaking buttons all the time. How do I do this? Thanks.

btw, sorry if this is the wrong place for this post. Seemed like the best match though.

I'm a bit of a novice, but if what your asking is what I think you're asking..... confused.gif

Click on the Text button (capital A) in the sidebar and click on the button and voila you can edit the text. To edit the format of the text just selecting the button is enough. However if you want to make something like

[ just Click here ] then you need to use the text button as above and individually select the text and change the format.

Hope I've been of some help.

Cheers

That was it. Thanks a lot. I figured I had to click something somewhere. Whew!

Another way is to deselect a button property such as running a macro. Then you just have to click the button to edit.

Mark, do you mean de-formatting the button?

Yes, that will make changing the text on the button easier, but only because it's not a button any more.
