ok, so the title is a bit offensive, but i can't believe that fm does not offer an upgrade path from developer 5 to developer 6. there is a 100 euro rebate offer, however. does anyone know if this also applies to developer 5.5 which is still available? all i need is a way to bind solutions to run under os-x using the same feature set that 5 offered.

Many people will agree with you on the pricing issues with the developer apps. Personally I have dislike the runtime engine since way back and have always just included/required a copy of Filemaker with my solutions.

Best advise is to write to Filemaker, Inc and let them know. Eventually they will listen.
