JUST BREAK DOWN THE BASICS!

You will need Server if you are also serving more than a couple of non-web users; i.e. FMP users of the same database on a LAN.

You should look at using CDML to customise you web pages. Instant Web Publishing is for very basic database access.

Hope this helps.

Ok...

Let me get this right....

I keep my FMP Server for (NON-Web users)...

For the WEB users, I use FMPU on another computer... right?

Where does the IIS come into play?

Here is the story:

Server for FMP clients;

Unlimited for browser clients;

IIS for serving static and image content.

All of these can be on sererate computers. However, depending on the load, IIS and Unlimited on one and Server on another. SOme people may even run them all on the one computer.

All the best.

Garry

If you will be serving more than 10 IP addresses in a 12 hour period, you will need FM Unlimited.

All the best.

I have FMP Unlimited, but the webcompanion Nav sucks...

I'm going to have to build my own...

what do I need to get this thing going?
