stac_1 Posted October 28, 2002 Posted October 28, 2002 I am running Filemaker v.6 in OS X on an imac - 350 Mhz. - 160MGs of RAM with a 6G HD, Filemaker is proving to be a processor hog... and I am not able to run much of anything while I am runnig Filemaker... is there some sort of upgrade that I missed? Or is there a way to turn down it's "hogness"?
Kurt Knippel Posted October 28, 2002 Posted October 28, 2002 What do you mean by "processor hog"? What else is installed on this machine? What version of OS X?
Anatoli Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 It always was processor hog on all platforms. The server is fortunately not that bad at least on NT kernel based OS.
