I have only ever seen this in the high end 3rd party reporting engines, such as Crystal Reports. They can pull from multiple data sources and put them on the same physical page.

Kurt,

Could such a tool pull data from FileMaker via ODBC or from an exported file?

How much, measured in dollars, is your boss willing to spend to get two reports on one page ($10,000, $100,000, more)? This is REALLY always the question.

Yes. They can generally EITHER import the data directly or use ODBC to pull the data into the report. The exact method will usually vary with the particular app and the data source in question.

The cheap way to do this is make a script to go to a report layout, enter preview mode, copy the report image, go to browse mode, paste into a global container field. Repeat for the second report using a second global container field. And then finally print a two page report with the first container field on the first page and the second container on the second page.
