Starting OS X Server via CLI ( command line )

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how to start OS X Server via the command line? I thought I saw a post on here a while back, I believe it was taken from the linux startup instructions, but i can't seem to find it.

My goal is to run OS X and FM Server without the AQUA GUI, as it eats lots of CPU cycles and is never used.

Why not run FM server on Linux?

Are you sure it eats cycles when its NOT being used??

Let me add that FileMaker Inc. did excellent job with CLI on Windows. It is so easy and so powerful.
