The Mad Jammer Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 Perhaps I just don't get it but what happens after the Dial phone script step is executed? Can one dial a fax number and then send a fax or is it for dialing up to a ISP or what? The Mad Jammer And then...there was nothing
jasonwood Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 As far as I know, it just picks up the phone, dials, and that's it. Then you pick up the phone and begin the conversation. It's like having a secretary to dial for you. Handy for people who make phone calls all day to people in a Filemaker database. It'd be cool if it would work with a Norstar telephone system, but of course that's digital. -- Jason Wood HeyWoody.com
Kristen Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 Has anyone found somehting or someway out there to make Filemaker dial through a Norstar phone system? Through plug-ins, modems, scripts, anything? Thank you.
BobWeaver Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 I know you can buy an analog interface for a Norstar system so that you can connect a modem. So, that should be able to recognize the dialing tones. Probably expensive though.
