Is there a limit to the number of records shown in a table?

Featured Replies

I was just wondering...

In FileMaker Instant I have a button in my layout that when click on in the web browser sends me to a different layout, basically a table. I have 41 records, but when viewed in the browser it always stops at 25. Of course when viewed in FileMaker all 41 show.

Any reason for this? Can it be changed?

LR

In Custom Web Publishing we use -max for this purpose; the default is 25. Unfortunately I don't know what the instant solution is.

All the best.

Well it was buried DEEP DEEP in the documentation. With Instant Web Publishing you can only show 25 records in table view.

Actually, the documentation did not even come out and say that. What I found was an obscure reference talking about the Go to Record/Request/Page

Larry: Speaking of documentation, what is your recommendation for a good reference document that covers Instant Publishing in detail? It would really be nice to have one file, book, whatever -- to research most questions. And the 25 item IP question has been one of those things I couldn't find any references for. Thank you in advance.
