TrashPct = GetSummary(sTrashWt, Customer_ID) / GetSummary(sReceiveWt, Customer_ID)

is correct. The correct answer will only appear when this field is placed in the subsummary part by Customer_ID AND the records are sorted by Customer_ID AND in Preview Mode or on the printed report.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I am already doing what you suggested and that is why I'm baffled. This calculation is in the 5th (and last) subsummary part of the report and is the only one that is not coming out correctly.

Well, don't I feel foolish. I double checked the sort routine and I was not sorting correctly on Customer_ID. Thanks for keeping me straight!

You must have a sort for each nested subsummary part. The fields in the sort must appear in the same order as the "by" fields in the subsummary parts. It's there, keep looking.
