Possible: PostgresSQL admin tool...

The company I work for is currently using Access for users access a postgres database. The users are mostly OS9 and we use Citrix server for them to use Access (currently Windows only). The system isn't perfect and we need to upgrade to a newer version that should help the problems we're having.

The problem is, the newer Citrix will cost a few thousand dollars and will still be a round about system.

We need to be able to open it as a database (which will be hosted on FM server 5.5), edit it and have it changed in the porstgres too.

I've been tasked with finding out if something like this would be possible in FIleMaker 5.5 (or 6 if needed).

I've looked into the ODBC and the drivers that come with FM 6.0 only support text import/export (!). I'm not sure what other methods there are for this, could there be a way in XML or a plug in?

Is it even worth thinking about this?
