Anyone know how i can get my hands on a ISBN databse for use in one of my soultions.

There's also *the* ISBN db at http://www.booksinprint.com.

However, you are going to pay quite a bit. These dbs tend to be expensive & heavily protected. There are innumerable subsets. Do you want a db of all books ever published in all countries at once (this would be the whole ISBN db)? Or would some smaller subset suffice?

My work consists of the care & feeding of a small specialized ISBN db, only about 17,000.

Looks like isbndb.com, when it is ready, will not have a downloadable version, just searchable on the web.
