Text area field text wrap in Netscape vs. Explorer

Anyone played around with the wrap="virtual" or wrap="physical" feature. It seems to work fine in Explorer, making the text fit the box nicely. But in Netscape it does not work. Turns each paragraph of text into LONG single lines of text.
