This is not a question about fmp web companion.

I need to know how to get information from an on-line database (non-fmp) into an off-line database (fmp). I have a feeling that this uses the http GET command but I am very unfamiliar with http protocol.

Why not try using the ODBC feature? (I've never used it myself...)
