Hello everybody

I have made a dynamic website for a smal travel agency and it has a backoffice that allows edition of new journeys. When making a new record (new journey description, price, dates and so on) I would like to upload 1 or more (ideally 4) images in related database (image database).

I don't see how to do it with CDML tag. The solution I have found up to know is to send the image via FTP and then fill the path to the very image in the appropriate field, but it is not very

convenient.

PS: I am using Filemaker unlimited 5.5

If someone has a solution....thanks in advance

"Nope I didn't see any."

Hmmmm. "web publishing, the fmp-includefield tag & images". Surely that could not be about pictures on the web.

Oh well, maybe Garry's suggestion will help you.

Hi, what I do to upload and link an image to a record is to use the file upload facility of our webserver, so that clicking the upload file just opens a separate little window with the right directory path and they do a browse and upload to that.

You could make an FTP upload window instead to the webserver, just send ftp://username:[email protected]/

but this has problems with the Mac version of Explorer for uploading.

Basically, I think you need webserver software as well as FMP unlimited which only serves http.

Once you have the upload to the right directory sorted, just get your users to enter the filename(s) into the picture field(s) and use calculation fields to construct the path.

regards, jeff
