I use filemaker pro server 5 and filemaker pro 5. I have a wired and wireless network using Microsoft wireless equipment. This all works fine on my XP and 2000 machines, but when I use it on a Win 98 2nd machine, it keep's loosing its connection to the file. I guess there is some sort of momentary loss to the connection and filemaker won't let it reconnect without closing out of filemaker and restarting it. None of the other programs I run off the server has this problem. Has anyone else have this problem? Do you know of a fix

..the fix... buy some copper and stop walking arround your room

Get rid of W98. Use professional OS for critical data handling. Connection to FM server from client MUST be permanent. Probably W98 cannot do that over the wireless network.
