tallboy755 Posted February 5, 2003 Posted February 5, 2003 Here is the scenario I insert a photo in and have the "Store only a reference" box checked. If I copy and paste the image is the copy a reference also or is it not?
LiveOak Posted February 5, 2003 Posted February 5, 2003 Cut and Paste inserts an actual image (converted to pict), not a reference. To paste a reference, you must use the Import menu item or a plug-in. -bd
BertBoye Posted February 5, 2003 Posted February 5, 2003 A small not to this, I pasted some picture in to FMP in my Windows XP machine and when I checked the result in Mac Os X was the picture not there. The only thing that was there was Windows logo and not the picture that I pasted in. The picture was copied from Corel draw and pasted in to FMP, it I do the same thing inside FMP are the picture still there. Maybe I miss some copy and paste techniques!!
Kurt Knippel Posted February 5, 2003 Posted February 5, 2003 Windows supports OLE, so what happens is that you actually inserted the Corel graphic. You would get the same logo on another Windows machine which does not have Corel installed on it. It basically means that the image cannot be displayed.
