Robbydobbs Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 Is it possible to go to a field have it highlighted so that you can either accept the text that is in it already or type over it and enter your own and then activate a script within the field by hitting the enter key?
Lee Smith Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 Hi Dobbers, First question = have a field highlight when entering it. Yes, go to Layout Mode, select the field or fields that you want to apply this to, then go to the Menu - Format - Field Format, you will see a check box at the bottom Select entire content when entering field. RBSolutions Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 Lee, I faced a similar problem myself and, after reading your post and "ran" as fast as I could to the URL you posted to pull down that script example. Lee Smith Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 Which one? I should mention that one of these files has several versions, one of which does *not* work on the Mac. So be sure you look at the icon next to the file and down load the one for your operating system. I will also test which ever one doesn't work in 6 if you let me know which one. Lee DoIt.FP5.zip
