Newbies KerryB Posted March 9, 2003 Newbies Posted March 9, 2003 I accidently put a "close" command in a script I wrote so now every time I launch the file it opens and closes on me. I would like to know if there is anything I can do to fix this or chalk this up as a dumb mistake and start over. TIA Kerry
LiveOak Posted March 9, 2003 Posted March 9, 2003 I assume the script is a startup script. What you need to do is open the file without running the startup script. To do this, if your file has some populated fields, create a dummy file with a field (text or number), create a relationship from the dummy file to the file you wish to open, place a related field from your file on the current layout in the dummy file. The relationship should force your file to open without running the startup script. -bd
