is it possible to import/export layouts? if so how?

Sort of...

If you are on a mac you can select all and drag it off to the desktop

to create a clipping.

Then drag it back to the layout and everything is there. If you switched databases and you have the same field names it will use the same fields. Otherwise it will leave a empty field for you to specify which field. Same thing goes with relationships and buttions connected to scripts.

On Mac and Windows you can use just copy/paste between databases.

BTW, you can import layout as picture in PhotoShop.
