hi, everyone ! i need to export formatted text ( bold, underlined, italic, etc... ) in fmp to quark-express or word without losing format :

( actually i want to export those text without losing format and want to use in quark-express. )

now somebody told me that this can be done with applescript. can somebody tell me how ? and since i'm newbie with applescript, would you give me the script ?

There are several sites related to QuarkXpress.

Somewhere I remember seeing Xpress tags for FileMaker. It may have been at FMI or www.fmfiles.com

Clarifying my previous post... If you can figure out the mysteries of scripting Word, you can set variables to text fields in FM and then use the formated string in Word. I believe this is not possbible in Xpress, and you need to use generate the Xpress tags using the scripting addition I mentioned above. Scripting Word is covered in many of the applescript books out there. Check out Sal Soghoian's site for Xpress scripting...
