Hi,

My first time creating a run time solution. (It is why I bought the developer version after all!)

I seem to be having a problem importing xml data via an xslt in the run time. It works fine in the regular way, running through the FM environment. Are there issues here? If it can't be done, I'm pretty much screwed.

PS - the error message that I'm getting is

"The translator for this file format could not be found or could not be initialized."

Hm. I can't import Excel files into runtimes either. I'm using Developer5.5 to create the runtimes.

There are several import filters that must be added to either the runtime folder or the system folder of the runtime solution. The filters can be found in the Developer folder under Runtime files/system. Just copy those filter files. If you are developing a cross-platform solution, you need to include the filter files from both platforms.
