I have a container field that I need to be able to view the image full size (screen resolution), but I need to be able to scroll down if the image is too tall to fit.

When I try to add a scroll bar to the field, either I get an error message, or the scroll bar disappears.

Does anyone know a work around or a way to do this??!

The ability to scroll an image in a container was probably not provided because you can format the container field to "reduce or enlarge" an image to fit while "maintaining original proportions". Go to layout mode, select your container, Format Menu --> Graphic...

Just make the field size as large as your largest image. The window scroll bar will serve as your image scroll bars.

One other possibility is to create 3 identical layouts except for the formatting of the container field. Have the container in the first layout top aligned, middle aligned in the 2nd, and bottom aligned in the 3rd. Make some up/down arrow buttons that navigate between the layouts. It's fairly coarse scrolling, but it might do the trick.
