filemaker and lasso, client wants database on web. clients server does

not support filemaker!

I know filemaker and would like to use it for the above client but am

afraid of the server limitations when using lasso for my clients and

am not very excited about having to learn another database program.

It would be difficult for my client to move their site to a new server

with filemaker.

Will using filemaker and lasso cause me problems with my clients or am

i missing something here.

If this is true is not this a severe limitation in using filemaker pro

and lasso??

Please help thanks roy

Which server operating system?

Which webserver software?

Where is the filemaker database hosted ?

Is PHP-FX an option? i.e. proxying requests for a fm unlimited database hosted somewhere on internal network?

What's the scope of the project? lasso/filemaker would be overkill for just a simple contact form ...
