Hi, I want to be able to provide advertising in my solutions that changes. I want to pull images from my web server, into a container field in the customer's files, this way the ads would periodically update automatically..... does anyonehave any idea on how to do this? I was looking for a plugin from waves in motion that looked promising, but they say they will no longer be developing it.... am I missing something stupidly simple? or is this going to be as difficult as it seems.....

Ah, I see, you want to Spam them to death.

No, it's for a free version of the software, that will be subsidised by a SMALL banner ad that runs in the software, will also be used for information on updates, etc. So, no that I promise not to spam them, any useful ideas?

This means that anybody using your solution has to be online, or it won't work.

And how do you plan to charge the advertisers? With this setup, you're going to have a hard time counting eyeballs.

You won't have to be online to use the solution, we have product activation worked out.... and we already have a deal worked out with the sponsors, becuase they will be distributing it as an ad specialty for a fixed fee per copy..... now that I've reassured everyone about the business end of my solution... does anyone know how best to make it work?
