Displaying averages in CDML

Is it possible to preserve the formtting used in the FMP db when displaying fields using CDML?

For example, I have a calculation field that computes the average of several other fields. In the FMP db I can format this field to only display 1 value after the decimal, but the CDML output file displays all the values after the decimal.
