Anyone know how to activate a script to automatically execute when a user enters a certain field on a layout?

You can designate the field itself as a script button or place a clear box over the field and designate that as a button. The problem with setting up a script to run upon entry into a field is that the user can never get into the field (since the script will activate every time they try) unless getting into the field is written into the script.
