FM Import, Match and add?

Can someone please explain what I do wrong!

I have a FM Pro 5 database with six fields. I import data from Excellsheets and there can be doubles in them. My thought was to use the option "Update matching records and add new records" in the FM Importfunction and set the match one three fields which should capture the doubles and update the record if the three fields alla matched and then add all the rest. What consitiutes a matching record?

My thought is that a matching record constitutes of exactly the same contents in all the three fields I put as matching criterias and then three other fields. If there is a match the record is updated and not added to the records, but if there isn
