I am new to all of this and learning daily. I am in charge of putting up a database for a the alumni of a local high school. they want it to be online and accessible to all alumni, a directory for entering email and location information. i am torn between using sql or Filemaker. are there any web hosts that support Filemaker and don't cost a whole lot? Also, i assume I will have to own a copy of Filemaker on my local machine and create the database here, then upload it to the web host?
