Is it possible to begin printing labels in the middle of the page? OR Start at the second label? I hate to kill a whole sheet of labels when i print just one label

yes. do a find. add a number of blank records. sort. print.

This means that everything on the label has to be calculated, no static text or graphics on them

If you are using a laser printer, you will run the risk of screwing up the drum. You might get away with running the same sheet thru a second time, but sooner or later the heat from the fuser will melt the glue residue all over the inside of the printer.

I'm with Steve on this one. A single trip to the printer repair shop can pay for about 500 sheets of labels.

If you want to print single labels, why not use a Dymo label printer?
