Hi there,

I got a customer who has a weird problem. When she tried to print an ID Card with barcodes, the barcodes didn't print! I checked the field to make sure that the Sliding/Printing option was off. Beside, I ask the customer to check the ink level of her printer. Every thing was OK. I run a test myself with her program. Every thing run smoothly. She uses a HP printer. She also got this error message: 9705. She operates a Stand-Alone solution with OS X.

Any help would be appreciated.

Additional information is required: FMP version and patch level (useless without the patch level).

Did it ever work?

Well,

Every body know that only FM6 can run with OS X. Especially if the user runs a Stand-Alone version.

In regard of the patch level, I am not with you. More information please.

The most obvious thing is to make sure the needed barcode fonts are installed on her computer.

She confirmed that statement. She can see the barcode fonts on her iMac.

"Every body know that only FM6 can run with OS X."

Tell that to the people running 5.5 and earlier under OS X. There's a lot of them.

The patch level refers to the number after the "v" in the version: the latest is 6.0v4. If your customer is running anything less than v4 then update it from the FMI web site.

Do the barcode fonts print from other programs?

You still haven't answered whether the barcodes used to print or not (is it a new installation or something).
