How To: plugin to accept more than 255 characters

I am developing a plugin on the windows platform and it is going quite well. One issue I have come across though and cannot seem to solve is passing more than 255 characters into the plugin. Does anyone know how to overcome this?

I doubt that anyone currently on this forum has written plugins. I suggest you look for an article (Sept 2003) that was written by Peter Baanen of Troi Engineering who has written more plugins than virtually anyone else. His article was print in Filemaker Advisor. Maybe it will help.

Thanks. I actually just managed to figure it out about an hour after I posted this. I had a subtle bug in my function that changed my FHandle paramter into a CString which was chopping the string to 255. It works fine now.
