Here's a dumb question.....

Can you use instant web publishing and custom web publishing at the same time?

To IWP you must select IWP in WC.

To CWP you must deselect IWP in WC.

I just changed over to the Web Security db. Everything is working except the one database that was published using Instant Web Publishing.

Why I asked the above question is this line from the FMPro Publishing Security Guidelines, quoting from page 31:

"In the Web Companion Configuration dialog box, make sure that Enable Instant Web Publishing is not selected (the Web Security Database is not designed to work with FileMaker Pro Instant Web Publishing)."

It also says on that page, "You only need to enable the Web Companion plug-in once...."

Which led me to believe that if I am using Web Security db than I can't have anything in instant web publishing.

So, my question was to see if others were using both together.

I now have my security problems fixed so I will just change the one db that is in instant to custom.
